Mostly good, but the motherboard is way overkill and the g.skill ram is a better value.

This one will be just fine for much less. Don't get a z87 board, they're a big pain to work with. This is the ram I recommend.

Motherboards don't affect performance at all once you get to a decent point. Even the performance difference from a very cheap one and a very expensive one will be very low. It is much better to just spend your money on something else that will actually affect performance. If you have s super expensive build, it may be worth it to get a more expensive board, but for it to be worth it, you would need to be going x99 and dual to triple 980s where there is nothing better to upgrade IMO. You can get a motherboard like the MSI gaming board that will perform just as well, look around as good, and will have all the features, but for a decent amount cheaper.

Yep, get an MSI Z97 motherboard, and the money you save on the Hero put towards a better PSU like https://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220g20750xr

I would go with an Air cooler over a H100i for the i5 4690K.

Hey since you saved money on the board, why not 16GB of RAM...

just saying =)

Your build looks great BTW...Goodluck with it =)

I also like Veteran's recommendation for a 256GB SSD.  You might wanna throw some games on it.
