Hi,

As the title says i have huge wifi problems, at first (about 6months ago) my old router stopped working so i bought a new one, a sitecom cx500 (dont know the exact name but there is 500 in the name and it is a sitecom router), this one worked pretty well. But after some time the 2,4 ghz band started falling out from time to time (the 5 ghz kept working) and would only turn on after restarting the router. I can live with this as it only happens about once a week and my pc is connected via cable.

But a few days ago it got horrible, it would take ages to start and it sometimes wouldn't even startup correctly. I resetted the router by pressing the button 15 seconds, it worked but sometimes would just give no connection. Now we thought maybe if we set it to a different channel it will work better, so we changed it from auto to 8 (1, 6 and 11 were the only channels used around here) but now the internet on my phone has become extremely slow and i have huge packet loss.

So please, how the f do i get my wifi working as it used to again???
