just had a thought, how much broadband speed is enough for the average pc gamer?

I'd guess around 3-10mb/s is fine, though its preferred to have higher speeds so things load/download faster.

At this point in time around 20mbs is a solid number. Past that is really just overkill unless you take pride in downloading full games in 30 minutes... which i do haha.. 100mbs is the way to go if you can get it

I run just fine on 3down .3 up, but if anyone else tries even loading a page on a browser, my ping will spike to 500ms+ for a couple seconds. NO ONE CAN USE INTERNET WHILE I GAME.

online games usually require no more than 2mbps, but you'll definitely want some additional bandwidth for downloading game, web browsing etc. etc. so I would recommend at least 10mbps
