asrock quality control?

i was going to get z97 extreme4 but read on newegg reviews alot of the same problems and someone linked http://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/2jrt1b/psarequest_possible_reoccurring_problem_with_the/ are all asrock z97 motherboards like this?

Dunno, but my ASRock Z97-M OC Formula is ticking along just fine, and it was a $120.00 mATX board.

 

From what I hear, ASRock are reputable these days, but it's pretty crappy to see a product of theirs consistently have issues.

i'm very satisfied with this asrock board, its amd. but its a very nice board, loads of neat features. this my 2nd Asrock board and im pleased so far.

They have a bad rap from some iffy products a few generations ago but I've not had any issues with my two asrock boards and they were only $55. They seems to be back on track these days and I don't have any reservations suggesting their hardware.
