7970 black screen

Hi guys.
The friend just came to my place and i wanted to buy his 7970. We put it in pc, but black scree, we updated bios of mobo but again black screen. We tried all pcie ports on mobo later again same thing.

Also we tried reseting cmos or bios, and we tried deactivating integrated card but again black screen. Graphic card is giving blue light so we now the power on her is on, and the fans are spining but no picture on screen. 

We don't know what we can do?

Ok, is the does the card work in any other computer? Can you list the specs of the PC? Is there another graphics card you can try that you know works?

GPU drivers? If you have integrated graphics, plug into those. The port should be in your i/o area on the board itself. If you're switching from Nvidia to AMD you might have some problems, as graphics drivers are notoriously difficult to remove completely.
