Hey does anyone know the URL or Domain name that the IOS youtube app uses to access Youtube, I'm trying to block it through my router but I need a Domain name/URL.
Cheers, Jake

it shouldn't be any different from the normal url, the only thing that changes it the browser id when you use a different device. Each browser has a different identifier EG: firefox has one with firefox in it while safari tells the website that "hey im safari so if you have any optimizations for me it would be greatly appreciated." There isn't difference I don't believe.

If it is still a problem though you could just block safari on your (kids) devices.

This is my opinion, it doesn't mean I'm right and is liable to change at any time. I may offend of which I apologize in advance.

I wouldn't suggest blocking it through the router, because you may actually want to use it and that will block it for you too. Unless you have a workaround in place. Like a VPN or a Proxy. Be careful of these as they are pretty easy to obtain.

I managed to block it with an inbuilt setting within the router, I can still access all sites because my computer has a bypass account that will bypass an restrictions.  Thankyou for your time and help Thermite I really appreciate it.

Your welcome DemonicSpud, some routers don't have the ability to bypass the website blacklist thats the only reason that I suggested something different. I'm glad it worked out for you buddy.
