How does this build look? I have changed it up a little since the last time I posted something about this, but I will be buying the parts VERY soon, so I want to be positive I am getting the right things. Thanks for the feedback!  :D (Oh and I'm not getting that cooler for the 970, its a place holder for the reference card)

Other than the fact that you need to lose the ODD, it looks good.

I know... but it just seems SO much easier to install Windows with. I know how to install it off a USB drive, I feel like it'd be a pain in the ass though.

Not really. It takes about 2 minutes to create a bootable usb and then like 30 minutes of the .iso just being copied onto the flash drive, and then the actual install time is like 10 minutes compared to the usual 40~ minutes from a disc.

Alright, I'll look into it a little more. I can also get Windows from G2A which saves $40 + another $20 from the optical drive.

Why reference cooler? Plan to watercool down the line?

Good but there are other companies for ram that i would choose before Kingston (corsair or gskill)
