No, the Noctua is what I have now. Sorry to make it confusing it will be water cooled. I already have the radiators and supplies but my old CPU block from 2011 from XSPC doesn't work for 1150.

It's all good. This is my recommendation for a solid CPU block:

what block? RASA or Raystorm? either are compatible with 1150/1151/1155/1156

sockets, just have to have the right backplate and hardware.

you can get a 1150 kit for the hold-downs: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/17620/ex-blc-1380/XSPC_Replacement_Mounting_Kit_-_Raystorm_CPU_Block_-_Intel.html?tl=g30c323s1205

Yeah it's the old one, the rasa.

then get the hardware kit, unless you just wanna drop more cash. not really

giving up any thermal differences to maybe 2-3° (margin or error).

Does that kit work on rasa? I'm searching but I can't seem to find one for the Rasa block. It's all for Raystorm.

You need this backplate for the XSPC raystorm blocks for 1150 socket.

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.
