New speakers, old headset

Hello everyone, i have 2 questions and i was hoping you could help me.

1st- I dont know anything about speakers and this christmas i am going to buy new speakers, with 100€ wich ones would you recomend and why ?

2nd- i have an headset that i bought 2 years ago, tritton ax pro, what do you have to say about this headset, is good to use in pc ?? can i even use it in pc ?? if yes how ?? cause when i plug it in i hear a strange sound.

3) To connect to a PC, you will need to use the optical cable included in the package. You can't connect to the decoder box with analog cables: the analog ports on the box are Analog OUT, not Analog IN.

Where are you going to use your speakers? What is your preferred sound signature?

well, i'll use it to gaming sometimes, movies, music, things like that.

I am sorry but as i said i dont know anything about speakers so i dont really know what i want to find in them, that's why i need you to tell me what's best

Do you like a lot of bass or a more neutral sound? Do you prefer the formfactor of bookshelve speakers or 2.1 speaker sets?

Do you want it to be plug and play or can it be slightly DIY?

i actually prefer bookshelve speakers, plug and play, the sound for me is either way i am fine with
