Question about AMD A10-6800k

I have been looking around and I really haven't been about to find anything that really answers my question.

But I've been wondering what graphics cards is the A10-6800k compatible with? I know that it says a 6670 but I have seen people pair it with a 7750 or even a 7770.

I have really just started to look into the APU style and I wasn't sure if doing a "hybrid crossfire" would improve much on a stand alone card and what card would be a good balance with a setup like this.

P.S. I am thinking something like this to get the most "bang for my buck"

Thanks for any help

Dual GPU solutions are not great. the issue is some games don't have great support for them so performance is not guaranteed. For gaming you would be better off going with a CPU that's a cpu and invest in a single card that is within your budget.

The "hybrid crossfire" is only enabled with the appropriate GPU, a 6670, because that GPU has roughly the approximate performance of the a10-6800k's GPU, the HD 8670D.  If a more powerful GPU is paired with the APU, the 8670D disables itself and the CPU on the APU starts working with only the paired GPU.

That's about as simple as I can put it.

Richland can be paired with 7750

- Hybrid Crossfire Capable with HD 6670 / HD 7750

I was looking at the 5800k box, sorry!

But still, anything over the 7750 then will over power the 8670D.

If you are not going to be using the onboard HD 8670D, you're better off getting the Athlon x4 750K (which is ESSENTIALLY the CPU that is on the A10-6800k ANYWAYS, right?), and pair THAT with a 7770. It'll come out at a lower price then the A10+7750.
