So I've run into issues with my build that have come and gone and its always the same thing, but its not always consistently happening...

build:

ASUS Z87-PRO

intel i7 4770K (no overclocking ever attempted)

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760

16 gigs of Crucial Ballistix

corsair 750 watt psu

Every now and then the computer will attempt to boot, fail and try over and over for like 10 minutes until it finally works. when it does this the fans will all start the and it will seem to be starting to boot then stop.

I get blue screens in windows and freezing in linux

I have Memtested the RAM and got no errors back and the processor has been upgraded from my previously used i5 where I still had the same issues...

NOTE: I have re-installed Windows, still get BSOD. My Ubuntu partition will also occasionally freeze, they are on different drives.

PS: First post on the forum, Hello all  :D

Also, If you are curious I have found out the last three blue screens bug check strings wereeee

FAT_FILE_SYSTEM

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

all caused by different drivers but the driver ntoskrnl.exe comes up a ton.

EDIT: looking again, they all happened at crash addresses within ntoskrnl.exe :/
