i am wanting to create 2D animations for demos is there a really good one for free or at a low price

Anime Studio, the debut version is under 100 dollars.

That's a lot of money still

It's very cheap for an animation program, Toomboom costs 300 and Flash CS6 used to cost 400+

Get a trial Adobe Flash Pro for 30 days. Although $20 a month is not a lot if you want to get serious.
