Deciding to get a G.Skill Trident X Series 2x4GB 2400mhz DDR3 but, 1 thing. It a CL9 ($119.99 on Newegg) and a CL10 ($66.99 on Newegg) models and I'm not sure which one to go for. I've read that the CL9 is slightly (as they say) faster than the CL10 but is the extra $50 worth it? Or I'm better off with the CL10 which makes not much of a difference to the CL9? Or does it? Help please

If there was a $5 difference than the cl9 ram may have been work it, but you could almost get two sets of the cheaper ram for the price of one set of the other ram...

As far as latency goes:

DDR3-2400 CAS 9 7.5ns

DDR3-2400 CAS10 8.33ns

DDR3-2400 CAS11 9.17ns

But considering the Cas 9 kit is $119 you are only $15 away from a 2400MHz Cas 10 16GB kit  So really as far as price goes not a good deal.
