Help needed! Question about sleeving cables

As of right this minute I just removed my first PCIE pin from my ax1200i psu for a new build that I planning on completing this weekend. I will be sleeving the 24 pin and cpu pin cables with 550 paracord really want to finish all the cables tonight.

 

My question is whether the cables need to go into the same connector slot that they came out of? When you look at the face of a pcie connector there are filled and empty slots in the connector. I will be putting the pins in the same "filled" spots but my question is regarding the actual cables and whether they need to be in exact same spot as stock. As in can a filled space in the connector can be filled with any of the other cables

 

I'm sorry if my question is hard to understand but it's difficult wording it correctly.
