I am planning to build a new gaming cpu in a few months times. As it is my first time doing so, i will need some recommendations on the parts that i had choosen for my cpu, whether its good or bad. The budget that i have is around SGD$2100. I am building it mainly for FPS gaming and video editing. Not going to overclock. Feel free to tell me about my selection on parts :)

Motherboard & Processor : Asus Maximus VII Ranger wit I5 4690

Ram: Kingston HyperX PC1600 Fury 8GB DDR3

SSD: Samsung SSD 840 PRO 120GB

HHD: WD Green 3TB

Graphics Card : Asus GTX970 Strix OC

Liquid Cooler: Cooler Master Nepton 280l

PSU: Cooler Master V650 Gold

Casing: NZXT H440

For SSD, which brand is better? Corsair Force LX or Kingston Hyperx? And for Ram, which brand would you guys recommend too? Thanks!

Yes Yes Legalize Gay Marriage sure, but have you ever considered Weaponizing Gay?

I like it.  Except for the small SSD.  250GB (or more) will make things a lot easier for you in the future.

Okay sure, i will see to it. Thanks for the advice :)

nah no way you wont get very hot only gaming you wont be stressing that cpu at all, if you are rendering or editing things then you might want to consider getting a water cooler and a better cpu but for gaming without an overclock you wont need to worry about temps you shouldnt go above 50ish

I guess i will be doing some game video editing and rendering as well but not while gaming. So do you still suggest a water cooler instead?
