The only difference between the regular hammerheads and the hammerhead pros are a mic. As for a competitor i'm pretty sure the hammerheads are around 60$ the klipsh s4's could be an option

I love the Hammerheads I have a pair of em. As @Red Dragon said hammerhead pros have an in line mic. That's the only difference.
