Connect HTPC to network through smart TV wifi

Hi all,

I'va got a silly question.

I have a RaspberryPi XBMC setup connected to an access point via Ethernet (because the wifi dongle is too slow) and to a Samsung Smart TV via HDMI. Is there a way to ditch the access point and connect the PI to my network though the Wifi of the TV by connecting it to the ethernet jack of the TV?

Anyway, I was thinking of switching to the CuBox with OpenElec. Any thought on that?

Thanks,

I think it's possible if the wifi and lan of your smart tv is "bridged".
