GTX 670 not boosting?

-ism

So my GTX 670 was as far as I know up until this day boosting perfectly fine.

I have a meager 50 mhz overclock which gets the clock up to 1250-1300 during FurMark but for some reason in both Planetside 2 and Batman Arkham Asylum my card has not been boosting at all. It goes up all the way to the base clock of 1019 and 1011 mV. My fan speed is at auto and my card is currently at 46 degrees in the middle of playing Batman Arkham Asylum.

The only thing that really makes it boost to its full potential is FurMark which goes to as I said earlier my boost of 1250-1300 mhz.

I don't really know what's up. I'm going to test Far Cry 3 and Trine 2 in a bit.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated. I tried rebooting a few times to no avail.

If it means anything my 3570k is overclocked to 4.5 Ghz at 1.185 volts.

GPU is a GTX 670 power edition by MSI.

have you checked your frame rate target. maybe you accidentally set it to something low like 40fps and since furmark is heavily gpu taxing it would be the only thing that wont be reaching 40 fps so it uses all your gpu strength and since the games probably dont need that much of the gpu at something like 40fps thats why it might not be boosting. Its worth a check.

Yeah I thought it was that but I checked multiple times.

I can confirm that right now in Far Cry I'm at 1283 MHz. I don't understand why it does this. -_-

Also Trine 2 wont boost either. Ugh

Sadly I've checked that as well, to no avail.

At least I know I'll be able to play Far Cry at the highest possible FPS.

Dude is your adaptive v-sync on or off? that is a driver setting not in game, that is what happens when i play most of the games with this card, it even underclocks to like 810 mhz on the core, but in crysis i get 1110 boost or sometimes in unigine 1123, and btw how many fps do you get in batman, and do you play Planetside with max settings?
