microsd vs microsdhc

I've got a "microSD and microSDHC card reader" that is an adpater for my micro sd to a USB port. Will it be able to read microSD cards that are labeled microSDXC?

 

I want to buy a class 10 microSD card and I'm worried it wont be compatible with the adapter that I have. (Its very low profile for my laptop)
