YouTube Slow

So the problem is that youtube videos load extremely slow. I have 25down and 15 up though so i dont know what the problem is.

It is also only youtube and only on my computer. I can watch 1080p live streams on twitch and online games without any issue.

Youtube also loads normally on my phone. My internet provider reset everything and fixed my connection yesterday and i am still facing this issue.

@Instinctz: This can be dependent on your routing to the youtube servers. There are a couple of tricks you can try, but most of the time you can't do nothing about it.

 

Where are you from? Which Provider are you using?

I would suggest using chrome browser if you're not already using it. There are some programs out there such as avg pc tune up that will optimize your settings/ ports etc for your browser.

meh, those windows-optimizing-tools do no good (I'd only use CCleaner, because it works.) and I've had exactly the contrary scenario: chrome wasn't optimized and thus slow. Try Opera + Adobe Flash. That should work. At least it worked for me.

And on youtube, try HTML 5 instead of flash, maybe that's it.

just try it, it might help (but then you'd have to fullscreen your browser (F11, I think) to get real fullscreen)

im having similar problems and i pin pointed 2 problems first one was my ISP was mirroring youtube with lot slower connection, using spotflux proved my point (usually 3.45min vid was loading around 5mins with spotflux it loaded while i was watching no stops) second one was the Adobe Flash plugin that i installed for chrome was not working properly so i disabled that and started using old integrated chrome's flash

I had the same problem, but this fixed it right up. Also re-install your browser or try a different one.
