I got a gtx 980 recently, but im having difficulty overclocking it practically. It has automatic clock speed changer, but that means it maxes out at like 1100, which is really low for this card. I can get it to go faster by using gpu tweak, but that isnt dynamic, which is what i want. And also, gpu tweak maxes out at 1400, which is lower than the boost speed of the g1 gaming model. I have the strix model, and expect that it should be able to achieve the same. What can i do to overclock this card effectively, and practically?

Have you tried using MSI Afterburner? That is what I have used on my cards including a 980 Strix.

What are your settings like in GPU Tweek? Are they matching up with what GPU-Z says?
