I chose these because they have an i7(which is always good for heavy workloads) and because they have at lease 10Gb of RAM. I run virtual machines on a couple of my laptops and I find that you need at least 10Gb to run the VM's and other applications comfortably. I think all of these have the nvidia 860m, so they should be pretty decent for gaming.
