I was installing my old harddrive to my new pc to get some files of it. When i went to boot it used the old drive. (when i saw windows xp i swea i got a little happy). Do i need to put the hdd i boot with on the first sata port or do i need to go into settings and type always boot on this drive or something?

Go to bios and prioritize the main hdd put it first in boot order and remove the old one from boot order

whats the f key for bios, sorry im a nub. Or can you access it through windows?

Depends on your mb.Usually f11 or 12
