massive FPS drops

i seem to be getting massive FPS drops when i play BF4 but its not all of the time sometimes i can be playing the game all day and its fine but then i will go on BF4 and lag i dont have any other apps open apart from chrome and it seems to be only this game, some times i notice that my ram usage is super high but only when chrome and the game is open.

I had the same issue on my 8320 switched to intel and all problemes were solved since BF4 performs better on intel because of the singlethreaded performance. but it could be a crossfire issue or something like that also do you leave chrome open? try closing chrome when you have joined a server. And what settings are you running the game on?

@lani100 yea i plan to move to intel and yea i leave chrome open because if i want to change server but i could try that

Are you runnign in crossfire mode? if yes disable it and see weather one card will still cause lags
