Looking to improve my airflow in my system as best as possible. Would I need third-party (best word I could use on the top of my brain lol) fans even if I'm using air cooling (hyper 212)? Anyways. If I do, my case is the NZXT S340. I believe there is 1 120mm fan in the back and two 120-140mm fans (not sure).  I want the bang for the buck, so not really expensive ones. Thanks :)

Also additional question. Kinda blonde moment if you ask me. How would I know if which way is the push/pull configuration? I'm guessing that configuration would work best in my kind of build too?

There should be an arrow, but in the case there isn't, the inside of the U-curve is the direction of the airflow (just like on a regular desk fan).

I second @Bubblewhale, Rosewill Hyperborea's are best price to performance. If you're not a US or Canadian citizen, then you'll find them as Akasa Apache's.

A less budget friendly option would be Cougar Vortex's.

The word you're looking for is aftermarket.

The fan on the 212 Evo already performs pretty well. Even a move to a NF-F12 would only improve temps by a few degrees. Push/pull might improve temps by 1-2c.

Replacing the fan to lower noise would be a good reason to replace the fan but not really for performance alone.
