Hi guys, so I can upgrade to the MSI Geforce GTX 760 OC 4GB or the Radeon Gigabyte R9 280 3Gb. Now I like the Gigabyte more and it is a bit better than the 760 but my only problem is I have a Corsair CX500 V2( 34A on the 12v that gives 408W).

My specs:

-AMD FX 6300 (stock speeds)

-8 gb ddr3 ram

-MSI 970A-G46 Mobo

-1X 1TB HDD

-1X DVD drive

-3X LED 120mm fans

-1X 140mm fan

-1X 200mm fan

It states that you need a 600w with 44A psu for the R9 280, is this true?

Can I give it a go with my 500w psu?

(Not planning on overclocking)

Thx in advance!

290 selling for 200-250 used. Go for 290. 760 4G ED is for SLI.
