RTSS not working on BF4

I use Rivatuner Statistics Server to limit my fps in games so my GPU isn't working its arse off all the time. but it doesn't seem to work in Battlefield 4.  It works perfectly in every other game, I've switched between Mantle and DX11 to see if that was the problem but can't find a way to enable the fps cap.  Making a custom BF4 profile on RTSS didn't help at all because I have the cap set on the Global profile which applies to everything.  Any help would be great, thanks.

Did you enabled 64 bit service in RTSS settings?

Yes, both compatibility property boxes are ticked.
