So far, it's turning out as an okay game. I spent most of my life playing the early NFS series and GT5 (NFS3, HS, PS Unleashed, Underground, Underground 2 etc) and some other FPSes.

Grid 2 has many features in it I find enjoyable, including the referencing of the term "JDM" whenever referring to japanese classic vehicles such as the silvia, and it has a full library of cars from muscle to euros to my favorite japanese ones.

But my question is, why do you guys like it? If you do.

Eric S. Raymond used an E6600 from 2005 until 12/30/14 or open source software creation. Raw data computations in excess of 18GB each. Core 2 Duos still have tons of life left, my friend.

I don't like that I have to pay to get the nice cars from DLC.

i like the game, the gfx and the physics are nice. i like the split screen multiplayer, oh and that rewind option when i fuck up is nice too... but yeah, the awesomer cars are paid dlc...they might get on sales for a few bucks during steam xmas sales.

may your framerates be high and your temperatures be low. #pcmr

It's a decent game.. But I kind of miss the Gran Turismo level of customization... Something that this game absolutely needs...

Physics is pretty nice, but sometimes unreasonable (I execute exactly the same maneuvers with varying results)... Also that intel splash screen (on a pure AMD rig)...

The flashback is also good... I'm racing it out with Euro Rand right now...

I prefer GRID 2's handling compared to Autosport (only when using a controller, which I do)

What ALWAYS kills the game for most people, including me.. is the segregated DLC splitting the community.

Love the SP, hate the MP (well....after week one when more DLC makes the community split)

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

But my question is, why do you guys like it? If you do.

It drives me FREAKING NUTS not being able to remove sponsor stickers from the cars.

More cars and more customization aside from just the rims would be nice, but overall it was a great game. I still like SHIFT 2 Unleashed more though.

It's a fun racing game, but the physics are very arcade-like IMO. Besides that, it's not bad.

I prefer Assetto Corsa, R3E, and Codemaster's F1 series.

Yeah I like all that too, but I shouldn't have to pay for those cars. Especially when that isn't the case in Grid 1
