external hdd help

okay so i have had problems with my hdd in my raspberry pi it shows up in Gparted but cant mount it tried it with another hdd and it worked. aparently ones that you build in cases can be abit dodgey can somone help me its a 250gb scorpio blue, HELP desperate!
