can anyone help me with deciding if i should buy my pc at cyberpowerpc or should i build it myself? the only reason im still deciding is because im afraid when i begin putting the pc together something will go wrong and ruin the whole build.

here are the specs: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/tbg7yc

and if i eventually come to the conclusion that i will build the pc myself, can anyone suggest a good step by step how to build video?

all help is greatly appreciated! :)

Linus makes some top notch build guides. Watch those and if you still have questions post it on the forums :)

Build it yourself, it will be a good experience. If you thing you're gonna get something wrong just have a video playing while building it. I have never built a PC, but i guarantee that if you give me the parts i would be able to build it. I spent a great amount of time watching videos and investigating about PC's to the point that i know a lot.

Planned I Hope Someday I Do First Build: CPU: Intel Core i7 5820k CPU Cooler: CM Hyper 212 EVO Mobo: MSI X99S SLI PLUS RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4-2133Mhz Storage: Corsair Force LS 240GB SSD & 2TB WD Green Graphics Card: ASUS GTX 970 4GB Turbo Case: NZXT S340 White PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750W 80+ OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit OEM Monitor: AOC i2267Fw 60Hz 22" Monitor

My friend I have been in your position before.

I wanted to get into pc gaming, but I realized my now old latop (Sony vaio laptop xD) was too shitty to run the games I wanted to play. I was thinking I'll just buy a prebuilt pc online but after doing some research I found out the price to performance was horrible! You were paying for the leds not the computer itself. So I later made a parts list and build a computer. I thought it would be hard but it was easier than it looked and it was kinda fun building this machine https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/b/C6qkcf . But anyway building a pc is easier than it looks and I highly recommended to get the best bang for your buck!

I'd suggest NCIX over Cyberpower if you have to get premade but looks solid to me, ask on the forum if you need help, and reference NewEggTV's youtube videos on how to build a computer (they have a 3 part series and a 2 part series which are both highly indepth)  Good luck eitherway
