Question about headsets.

So I was checking out the elite steelseries siberia and I came across something that I did not understand. 

What's the difference between this:

I do understand that one is called elite 7.1 and the other is called elite prism. However, I've seen reviews and the Elite 7.1 says that either the right or left side will break 100%. and I even asked steelseries if this was true to avoid buying these, but it seems that they havent even replied to me after a week.

 

So I was wondering should I avoid it and go for the elite prism? I'd have a lot of trouble returning items and such since I live all the way to Mexico ._.

 

 

P.S. also any difference between the black jet one (second link, second picture) since it's 36 bucks cheaper?

Read the reviews of the first model that you linked.  The comments from the users kinda explain everything.

dont get headsets, get headphones and a mic, you get more for your money
