Flushing gpu water block

Hey I'm trying to flush an EK acetal + nickel waterblock and was wondering if vinegar is safe for it. The EK site said not to use it on nickel plating but I'm not sure if it's referring to the part that makes contact with the gpu or inside the waterblock. I was going to fill it with vinegar and distilled water and let the loop run overnight.

Yeah running it with a dilute vinegar and distilled solution is good overnight just be sure to flush it to make sure to remove all traces of that solution since vinegar after by rinsing since it can stain or dis-color the plating which is what EK's site was talking about.
