4. Peripherals

5. Why are you upgrading?

If you are getting the g3258, you really should get a Z97  board and OC it; WAY better performance.  Otherwise maybe look into a quad-core i5

Want a good game to play?  Check out Shadowrun: http://store.steampowered.com/app/300550/ (runs on literally any hardware)

another 12 core / 24 thread senpai...     (/. _ .)/     \(. _ .\)

There are some non-Z series boards that can overclock. Check Linus' PC buyer's guide video, the "Just Game" machine has one.

Get a MSI or Asus motherboard. They are more stable, and have better overclicking support.

Is it a monkey? Is it an ape? I don't care, I LOVE'EM!

the i5 is to expensive, i'd like to stay within the same price range.

I've been looking, but i can't find one with wifi in the same price range. Any suggestions ?

A Steam Machine is not good for much general usage besides gaming. The Debian OS is only a few GBs so with the HDD mounted as home, 90% of the SSD would be unutilized.

Im going to put win7 on it (so i can play all my games) The HDD will hold all my games en documents and stuff.
