Hello all, so I am building a new computer to take to collage and it needs to be small, and quiet.

I am going to do a Micro ATX motherboard, but I am really bad at picking out motherboards because I don't know a ton about them. So if I provide the rest of the parts I hope someone can give me a hand.

I want this to be able to do light 4k gaming i.e. tf2, dota2, etc...

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing

GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB STRIX

RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

PSU: Undecided (suggestions?)

Monitor: Asus PB287Q 60Hz 28.0"

I am thinking I want to build it in this case . If you have other suggestions, please, I'm all ears.

If I missed anything, or if I could make this build cheaper, go ahead and tell me  :P

Thanks to all, and to all a goodnight!

EDIT: Ok so I am going to use the PSU and storage that I have in my current PC. What do you think of this build ?  http://pcpartpicker.com/user/TripleHelix/saved/dHkgXL

-Cheers Everybody-

That ASRock board doesn't support SLI so a 750W psu is pointless.

The Kingston V300 is pretty slow. The Crucial MX100 is a better choice.

As cheap as it can be while still being able to do light 4k gaming. USA (represent!)

Not "Cheap as possible" but I picked the most reliable brands out there.

Tweak and cut corners as needed.
It is recommended to wait until the 390X series, so the GPU would be much cheaper.

I chose the 750W PSU because according to what PcPartPicker says the average watts used (351w before over clocking) I wanted to allow for some headroom and since it is a 80+gold psu, they tend to be most efficient at around 50% load (375w in this case, so really close to peak efficiency)

and I chose the V300 as it was the cheapest 120GB SSD, and from what I have seen, people say they aren't that bad for the price.

A 550W would be a better choice. Modern power supplies are efficient from about 20% load.

Seasonic G 550W efficiency curve - http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Seasonic/G550/6.html

The difference between a couple of percent efficiency isn't worth the extra you are paying for a bigger psu. A good 550W is all you need.

The V300 is a slow SSD and sneaky Kingston changed the NAND without telling anybody.

Both are equally good, EVGA's ACX cooler is quiet. I chose it as it is a little bit cheaper for budget. you can change any part you want, it's your choice

I heard about that, but I thought it was just a rumour. if the OP wishes to, they could swap it for this one from ADATA - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/a-data-internal-hard-drive-

asp600s3128gmc

EDIT: As for the PSU, for a 550W of the same type listed in my original list, you would be paying $74.99 and for the 750W on you would be paying $79.99. $5 more and you get an extra 200W, the op could re-use it if they so intend to.

Ok so I am going to use the PSU and storage that I have in my current PC. What do you think of this build ?  http://pcpartpicker....ix/saved/dHkgXL

Sorry for multiple posts, it seams to be alright, do you already have the RAM, if not, I would change it to a 2x8GB kit, as this would allow for future expansion, possible to 32GB (if you ever need it)
