Go to solution Solved by 551760,

Alright I've come across a solution if you're having a similar problem go to. (Administrative Tools > Windows memory diagnostic > Restart now and check for problems.) Then wait for the diagnostics to finish And once windows starts Your drives should be in the Disk Management Window.

Motherboard - MSI X99 SLI Plus

Memory (Ram) - Quad channel DDR4 2300Mhz (16GB)

CPU - Intel core i7 5820k 4.0Ghz

GPU - EVGA Geforce GTX 980 SC (x2 SLI)

PSU - Seasonic 1050W Platinum

Boot device - Samsung Evo SSD 120GB 540Mb/s

CPU Cooler - Corsair H110

Mass storage - Western digital Black 3TB (Not Detected)

Case - Corsair 750D

Network Adapter - Asus PCEAC56 Dual Band PCI-E Adapter. 800Mb/s

OS - Windows 8.1 64bit

Description - The computer works fine detects USB Drives etc, It's just not detecting sata drives other than the boot drive They do not appear in Storage management at all. I have tried switching sata ports etc rebooting testing multiple drives (All Had same issue) Which leads me to believe It's something to do with the computer. Any Suggestions on how I may fix this or what is causing it? Thanks~

Do they show up in bios? If not then check your sata cables,or you might have to return the motherboard.

Is this a brand new computer build? I'm going to assume the drives haven't been formatted, while the boot drive has since it's part of the process of installing the Operating System.

1. Right-click on Computer and choose Manage

2. In the left menu, click Disk Management

3. Right-click on any unformatted drive and click Initialize or Format.
