is there any way to find the day of the year? 

i have to write a program where i have to show how many weeks remaining till my term ends, so if i could find the no of day then i would minus it with 365 and then divide by 7 and get my answer but there is no option to do it.

 

i have an idea but it will make the program too long its like finding the no of month and then using switch case to calculate the number of days for each month, so yeah it will be long. so are there any other ways of finding it?

yeah it gets the month number not the day of the year

Maybe just Date subtraction then?  (if AS3 allows it)

 

You should be able to do some calculation with the result.
