Motherboard: MSI Z97S SLI Plus ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  (£87.56 @ Scan.co.uk)
Memory: Kingston Fury Black Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  (£62.56 @ CCL Computers)

There is not anything taht is truly "futureproof" Exept for the case/chassi.

That rig will hold up Years,

Even My rig still handles The Shadow Of mordor at over 30 FPS with all settings at maximum exept for Shadows and render distance.

My Gaming PC

|| CPU: Intel i5 4690@4.3Ghz || GPU: Dual ASUS gtx 1080 Strix. || RAM: 16gb (4x4gb) Kingston HyperX Genesis 1600Mhz. || Motherboard: MSI Z97S Krait edition. || OS: Win10 Pro

The build oshino gave is rock solid I only would get a EVGA G2 750 W fully modular PSU just for future SLI if you are not gonna do this then just take the 500 W PSU. Just check out the website you wanna use to buy the stuff and tell us how much it is so we can look where we can save money if it is to expensive. Also what country in EU?

Nope. the 4690K is still plenty powerful for those applications. If you're going to be doing some more serious video editing or rendering type work, you'd probably want to go for the 4790K.

If you plan on SLI, EVGA's 750w G2 is a good choice, but will increase the price of the build a bit.
