2-Way SLI help

Hello everyone,

 

I have recently built a gaming rig(Beginning of this year) and am thinking of going SLI since I now have the money. One problem. I can't find the same graphics card anywhere. The store I normally buy from has got the same card only it is a different brand. My question is can I run 2 of the same graphics cards if they are different brands. The card I have is:

 

ASUS GTX 780 OC 3GB

 

The one I can get is the same but the brand is Gigabyte instead of Asus. ANY help is appreciated. Thanks!

Check ebay, they always have the card you are looking for. Just look for a seller with good feedback and a reasonable price.

Yes you can, as long as the RAM amount and GPU chip are the same.

the only thing that matters is that the GPU and vram are the same. it might look ugly to put a different cooler design but if that doesn't bother you then you're golden.
