Best video conversion software?

For the longest time I've been using VirtualDub to compress my fraps videos to something i can upload but lately I've started to hate using it and I want to know if there is something better. Right now i'm trying Divx Converter but its only a trial and to my knowledge Divx sucks. I mostly want something that can convert many files into many other formats with tons of options and good codec support.

Have you tried Wondershare Video Converter? I used it for a while and I liked it, it does cost money. As for free alternatives try Free Studio.

I'm currently testing HandBreak with form lossless fraps videos and so far i kinda like it.

I'm currently testing HandBreak with form lossless fraps videos and so far i kinda like it.

 

Handbrake doesn't output to that many formats though, that's why I didn't talk about it, but if you don't mind that then go with handbrake for sure.
