a few days ago i started this thread http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/24183-when-i-play-games-my-the-graphics-on-it-appear-broken/

which ended up being solved but now randomly my computer screen randomly turn off and back on after a few hours of being on my computer... this happens every few minutes after it has started and it resizes my taskbar...

 

do you think its my video card? i just wiped my drivers and re installed them also...

Have you checked the power management options in Windows and AMD's Vision Engine Control Center ?

Could you provide us with your system info and operating system ?

im running an radeon 7850 with an amd fx4170 on a asus v formula with an 850w power supply and im running windows 7 64bit i have not checked my power management options in amd vision yet

i actually just checked my system and found out that my 16gb ram went from running  2000MHz too 800.... do you think its the answer?? if so what would cause such a drop

You should update to the newest BIOS version..For the ASUS CROSSHAIR  V FORMULA it is 1703

its giving me an rom file... this is the first time i am updating my BIOS
