Thoughts?

I am currently thinking about getting the ATH m50x's and a Razer Kraken 7.1... (Not Chroma)

 

The m50x's for music listening and the kraken for gaming, 

 

 

 

Thoughts on these choices?

I'd say replace the razer krakens with hyperx clouds.

 

M50Xs are pretty good, I personally have the M20X, price to quality wise, its the best pair of headphones / headset ive ever owned.

They have a better overall sound signature and microphone and don't use a perfectly circular ear design.

They are highly recommended by many users, are high quality, and from what I have heard, they are one of the most comfortable headsets you will ever use.

you can take the mod mic off but they are definitely not portable due to their open back design which means that they leak sound both in and  out which makes usage in loud environment very annoying so my recommendation in buy an m50x and attach the mod mic to it and save a little bit of money
