Charger failure

So the charger of my friend Mobile is slower than usual ( battery % decrease while he uses it plugged in ) so can be that he was keeping the charger all the time connected even while he is not charging is the cause of this!?

Sounds like the charger or the battery is on its way out. What phone is it? I'd start with picking up a new charger. If that doesn't solve the problem, I'd try getting a new battery if that doesn't fix it(if applicable)

I tried another charger and it's the charger btw the phone is nexus 5

If it's the power brick that came with the phone then yea it should be enough to power the device while charging it. If it doesn't do that than it's probably faulty in some sort of way. Especially if you use another power brick and everything works as it should. I was just curious as to if he's using a brick not made for the device, since very low mA bricks can be too little to run the device and charge it at the same time. Personally if everything works fine with another power brick, I would suggest him not using his original faulty one. Who knows what could happen and the last thing you want is to ruin a perfectly good device. Have him go out and spend the $10-20 for a quality power brick.

It's the one that came with the phone and he did try another brick and it worked fine
