Hi, I'm trying to use my custom pc to run two computers. The reason is that now that I'm in college I only use my desktop when I come home and its overkill for the browsing and streaming my family does. I was wondering if I could set it up so that my dad and sister can each use the computer separately. I know this can be done with SoftXpand and I like the implementation, but I have windows 8 which isn't compatible. I found some alternatives like Aster and BeTwin but I'm not sure if those are as good. I also want to be able to play games like LoL if my friends come over and I know it's not that demanding of a game, but a software that doesn't impact performance a lot would be a huge benefit.

TL;DR - Can I use my pc for two users at the same time on windows 8?

So now the actual question, has anyone tried either Aster or BeTwin (or even got SoftXPand to work on Windows 8)?

Not really possible.

Why not just build them a less powerful computer to use?

Seems like Aster works. Not exactly sure how good it is tho.

It also has a 30 day free trial without limitations, so I guess you could give that a try.

Another thing I forgot to ask, do you know how to get the audio for each pc to it's respective headset? I'm thinking I can use the motherboard audio for the 1st one and then a simple usb soundcard for the 2nd one and assign that usb port to the 2nd one.
