Mac Youtube slow/buggy

Hi,

my mac has some weird problem. Youtube is slow both in safari and chrome. It needs about 10seconds to load a page. Once the pages finished loading, the video loads fine even with 4k no problem. Additionally in chrome there is a bug, that every youtube page reloads after about 10 seconds.

Also the forum logs me out constantly in chrome.

Does anyone know what the problem is and how to solve it?

Thanks in advance!

additional info:

100k internet

OSX Yosemite

newest chrome and safari

They don't need it; it's all done on the fly.

If you right click the video area and if it says about flash player or something, you're using flash.

Otherwise, I'm fairly sure that 100K would infact be 100Kbps, as 56K referred to 56Kbps dial up :P
