For the price of that 760 you can get an R9 290 ($250. Used to be $500) that will compete with a GTX 780. In other words, it massacres the 760. Make sure you buy the 290. A better power supply would not hurt.

Intel Inside. Overweight guy in his 30's outside.

this is meant to be an itx system so...

Change SSD to ADATA SP900 128GB.

Change HDD to WD10EZEX.

I have had negative experiences with WD and I trust Seagate so... May consider adata though.

For the price of that 760 you can get an R9 290 ($250. Used to be $500) that will compete with a GTX 780. In other words, it massacres the 760. Make sure you buy the 290. A better power supply would not hurt.

the end user of this system wants to use gamestream to a shield, although I will take the r9 290 into consideration. Any custom cooler recommendations?

A less expensive Adata ssd.

A GTX 770. Better and less expensive than the GTX 760.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

hmm not sure about mobo, will consider 770, not sure adata is worth it though, given Intel's reputation for quality.
