First build log ever....

Heyo, my name's Jacob. I have been a lurker for a long time, mainly browsing hot deals and getting help when needed. Recently, I decided my computer needed an aesthetic upgrade. I bought some parts...

Future upgrades in order of purchase(Recommendations appreciated):

Blue SATA Cables

Blue Phanteks DX12 CPU Cooler

2 more Phanteks F140SP Fans for the top of the case + 2 F120SP fans to help the front 200mm pull air through the hard drive cages

240/256GB SSD as boot drive

Better Processor/Motherboard

Future plans:

I was thinking about taking some of the pieces of the Luxe, grabbing some Blaze Blue Plasti-Dip, and just going ham on the case(only getting certain parts, like the front intake cover). I also want to replace the Phanteks logo from the mini window with one of a custom logo.

Overall:

I decided to go with a Blue+Black with a splash of lighter colors including silver and white. I will continue to make the computer look better by adding Plasti-Dip, a color matched CPU cooler, and maybe some color matching fans. My inspiration for calling my computer Blue Lightning came from one of my friends. It's going to be the theme of my plans for my future career(hopefull), and decided it would fit here too. I don't have great pictures, but maybe I'll take some better ones of the finished product once my lighting strip comes in from the post. What do you guys think? Worthy of the upgrade? Cables managed better? Other thoughts?

Thanks for reading about Blue Lightning, and may you find your inspiration to do greatness!
