I am going to be needing a spare USB power header on the motherboard to power an arduino (using for programmable RGB LEDs).

I am using both of my headers for corsair link (h100i) and corsair link (ax860i).

I am wondering what exactly each one does in terms of information and control.

As far as i can see i get fan control and information as well as temps for the h100i

and ax860i fan and temp + the whole power tab in corsair link.

I would primarily like to know if i will be able to control the corsair link fans if i remove the corsair link cable.

EDIT: did some research and you can plug the power supply cable into the h100i block.
