greetings!

When some cards go onsale in 3 weeks, I'd like some suggestions on what to do so I can do my research-

1- a 2nd XFX R9 280X TDFD for Xfire

2- first ever Nvidia card!

always went AMD with everything. Looking to spend up to 300.00 us unless something awesome is around 350 on sale that will last me 2 years. Basically Xfire what I have or get something new. Just PC gaming. no video editing or photo shopping. card(s) will be paired with a OC FX 8320 4.21 on a ASUS Sabertooth 990x r2 with plenty of cooling all around.

Thanks in advance

I went from AMD 2x7770 2gb passive cooled  to Nvidia 980msi gaming (semi passive)

Only thing i miss from AMD is AMD Game evolved where you can earn points to buy stuff.

I would go CF route in your case.

cool thanks for the advice. after reading another thread on AMD CPUs vs Intel and gaming, Xfire would be my best option for mid range hardware. Plus it would be cheaper then a R 290X or a Nvidia 970. I would get the most out of my set up for at least a year I hope. kinda bummed about the FX CPU and its limitations... but like I said in that thread, no sense buying a new CPU and motherboard when my Sabertooth is almost a year old and is in perfect working condition.

Just as a refference to the CPU buzz.

Now I am reading up on the 9570 cause I have the board and cooler for it.... sigh
