Alright, so I am going to build a gaming PC, I already have the MOBO and the PSU, here is the list of parts.

Motherbord: Asrock fm2a55m-vg3+

CPU: Athlon x4 760k.

CPU: Either an r9 270x or a 750 ti.

Ram: 4 Gigs of HyperX 1600 Mhz ram.

PSU: Alpine 600W.

Thats really all the main parts you should need tbh, I was wondering what GPU to get, and would there be any bottlenecking with the CPU and GPU. I was also wondering if I would be able to run these games, even at low settings.

Arma II.

Arma III.

DayZ SA.

Bf3-4.

And some other games, but they are the main games that I would want to play.

Thanks for looking at this post and any help/ feedback is welcome.

For Arma and Dayz it will really be necessary to get at least i3 or overclockable pentium because those games are heavy CPU single core performance intensive. You will struggle with Athlon.

R9 270x destroys GTX 750 ti in performance.

What is your budget?

Thanks for getting back to me quickly, that is what is in my amazon basket right now, and if you exchange the currency, it goes to 362 euro, it isn't the best amount but it was just a budget PC to play with friends.

Well, if you already have the MoBo then there is nothing much I can do with that build. Go for 8GB of RAM (2x 4GB). Otherwise it looks OK.

270x. 8Gb RAM.  I would go with a Pentium G3258 or save up for an i5 with a Z97 board.

Yeah I am going to get an extra 4GB of RAM, I already have an fm2 board and can't return it, that's why I am getting the athlon as it is "the best" fm2 cpu around.

Alright, thanks for your help. If I make any changes I'll be sure to post them here.

Also you can get aftermarket CPU cooler like Cooler Master 212 EVO if you plan on overcloking. But you can always get it later if you dont have the money right now. Same with SSD.

I'd get an i5 cpu. and 1 ssd of 128gb if you're looking for speed (loading speed). and at least 8 gigs of ram.

i see you're on a budget but you should really take into consideration that techs are going fast, and so are the games.

keep in mind that if you're making a more budget restricted computer, that it can at least go for a year or 2/3. hopefully 5 before things start to really being outdated

Yeah that's what I was planning on doing. Once I get some money I'm going to add a CPU cooler, 4 extra gigs of ram and if I have enough I'll get an SSD

ah yeah then you're stuck to it. To give you some more info. I'm running an AMD Phenom II X6 1100T for around 4 years now and it's still doing a fine job. Although it's close to bottlenecking my gpu, a GTX 660 Ti for just over 2 years. 8GB Ram is enough for most things.

Able to play BF4 around high settings 40-70 fps (Geforce Experience suggests even UItra when optimizing). Don't have Arma. The Evolve Alpha was 60fps+ on medium settings.

So you're propably good for couple of years i'm guessing ;)
