Hi, i am planning on making DIY CPU waterblock and i need some reference information. Anyone please post here dimensions for any s1150 waterblock. Also motherboard base screw arrangement dimensions would be great for same socket. So i can make calculations on how big should i make the block and still be able to fit it on.

 

I also have question - is it ok to use engine coolant for PC cooling loop? (Volvo VCS yellow in my case)

 

 

p.s. Most of the parts needed i have salvaged from stuff so i want to use as much possible things i have laying around rather than go shopping for things that look fancy.

Please don't use coolant made for autos. Just use distilled water. Its cheap and will work just as well.

Nope i hope that accurate metal mill can make same effect
